A Small Cooling Depression

a low pressure cell

just under the ribs

would have a mass

if you were lying down

about the size

about the shape

about the weight

of a small cat

vibrating with a nameless energy

but standing up

walking into a wind

the tensioned hollow

is a passive aggressive absence

a small cooling depression

left by a furring purring pet

now scratching at another door
